Property Refurbishment Case Study

Creating a Wine Cellar

Installation of a bespoke hand crafted wine cellar into what was once a pantry.

Case Study

A D Property Services were asked to visit this recently beautifully renovated house in Farnham, Surrey. The client required the installation of a bespoke hand crafted wine cellar installed into what was once the pantry.

The clients requirements were to open up a wall in the kitchen so they could see the wine on display.

Creating an opening

A D Property Services discussed with their structural engineer the requirements of the steel lintel required and then carefully supported the wall above whilst cutting a hole out in the wall and inserting the steel beam.

Building the wine cellar

The opening was then made good with bricks and plaster and then painted.

The frame and glass was then installed to reveal the stunning wine cellar. All the work was carried out with the minimum of disruption over a period of 5 days, much to the clients delight.
